F.A.Q. - GearTrax

How can I specify a worm gear with a 14-1/2 degree pressure angle and a course (less than 20) diametral pitch?

First select the"Fine Pitch Involute 14.5 deg" standard. Then enter the worm gear lead. That value is calculated by dividing PI by the diametral pitch. For example, a 6 diametral pitch lead equals 0.5236" (always inches). If you are working in the module system, multiply PI by the module to get the worm gear lead in millimeters.

I am having trouble with a network license for GearTeq, GearTrax or CamTrax.
